Kenny and Barb
In the crisp, cool days of Autumn
when leaves turn yellow and fall.
Kenny and Barb collided
At a toy store at the mall.
Their encounter was so fleeting,
They'd each a niece to please.
But they both remembered the meeting
and their thoughts would dance and tease.
They found themselves returning
To the toy store on a whim.
Not knowing she was yearning,
until Barb spotted him.
Kenny's face was wistful
As he held a roller blade.
Then his glance fell on her
And that is where it stayed.
They met no more at the toy store,
But dined and danced instead.
And after a year, you'll be glad to hear
That Kenny and Barb shall wed.
On a crisp cool day in Autumn,
When gold leaves grace the dells.
