"While searching for a gift for my father's upcoming wedding, I stumbled upon
the website for Occasional Poems. I wanted a gift that was unique and very
personal, and in working with Rudy, that is exactly what I found. He asked very
specific questions about my relationship with my Dad and his fiancee...I
described my feelings and told my father's story. What I received was a poem
that said everything that was in my heart and I was unable to put into words. I
had the opportuniy to make suggestions and changes, which were very well
received. I was able to go back and forth with the poet until I was completely
satisfied. I also had less than a week until the wedding when I found out about
this site, and Rudy was very accomodating in making my poem a priority. The
poem brought the tears to my father's eyes that I had hoped for, and I know it
will be treasured by my father and step-mother for years to come."

It is actually perfect. I couldn't think of anything else more
suiting to explain how I feel about him. I read it to my friends at
lunch and they actually had tears. He will be totally surprised with
