A Dog and His Bone

Our little dog has a great big bone.
He's had it since his teeth had grown
Til he could grab it, chew and toss,
To show that bone just who was boss.
He'll sit content, to chew until
He sleeps exhausted, calm and still.
His bone protected by his paw
Until he wakes once more to gnaw.
