I want a licensed character that I can call my own.
He'll be in books and movies, on TV he'll be shown.

I'll print up decks of cards with him, posters, T shirts too.
Each day my licensed character will show up someplace new.

And everywhere that he appears, he can be had for cash.
His loyal fans will trade their dough for all his licensed trash.

I've planned it all out perfectly and cannot find a hitch.
I know my licensed character will make me filthy rich.

A licensed character is like a gold mine or a mint.
The money just keeps pouring in, without delays or stint.

I'll keep my licensed character so neatly spiffed and shined,
As long as he continues to keep my pockets lined.

But if he loses fan appeal and sales slow down their pace,
Another licensed character will shortly take his place.

for that special person who loves to laugh.
