Personalized Poems Just For Someone Special In Your Life
Walking Through a New Home
My family is in the middle of moving to a new home. Like every
move I've ever heard of, this one came with its share of stress
and frustration. But moves can also contain moments of
exhilaration and happiness.
One such moment occurred at the walk through of our new house
just before we met with the lawyers and real estate agents to
close the deal.
There is something about walking through an empty house, knowing
that in a few hours it will be YOURs, that gives it a
special magic.
The new house smells of wood and paint,
Our voices echo down its halls,
Its hardwood floors are bare of rugs,
No pictures hang upon its walls.
So eagerly we walked within,
Each pristine room a silent vow,
That we would be most welcome here,
If only we would show it how.
For now it is an empty shell,
But we will make this house a place
That we shall fill with love and warmth,
And rest secure in its embrace.
for that special person who means so much to you.
