Give A Personalized Friendship Poem to that Special Friend
Goodby to Sally
Do you remember how we drove to work?
In no particular hurry.
We'd talk all the way about this or that
While around us the traffic would scurry.
You'd stop at my building, I'd get out and wave
and then you would head to your own.
I'd watch you depart, feeling happy and brave,
And ready to face the unknown.
I'll cherish our mornings, there will be no more.
Tomorrow you start your new life.
You're moving today, to a town far away
to become a mother and wife.
I'll always remember with feelings of joy,
the wonderful times that we shared.
Here's wishing you cheer and a bottle of beer,
Cuz I know that you're just a bit scared.
for a special friend, to let them know you care.
