It's been a year since side by side,
on that warm and cloudless day,
I held your hand and you held mine,
we'd each a vow to say.
A year has passed and our love has grown,
At a slow and steady pace.
You look more lovely every time,
I gaze into your face.
We do not know what sorrows,
or joys will come to be
But I will be content if you,
Will share them both with me.
For your spouse, your parents, or friends on their anniversary.
